General features
- Structure (Configure) system to represent YOUR needs by setting Zones, Categories and Relationships
- You don’t have to worry about invalid data; Field validation allows you to define mandatory fields as well as validation parameters
- Upload files and share them with other members of your team
- Link any two elements using relations YOU had defined
- Execute global searchs for any item or piece of information
Management features
As an admin you will be able to:
- Create user accounts and assign passwords to users
- Create Zones of information that will contain all the information related to one topic
- Decide which users are allowed to enter which zones
- Create Categories that represent a type of knowledge (eg Presentations)
- Add Attributes to the Categories to store the information you need
- Assign types to those Attributes (date, numeric, string, etc)
- Set validation criteria (required, less than, greater than, etc)
- Create Relationships between Categories that allow users to link them
User features
Once you have set these elements of the system Blink will generate the user interfaces that allow users to:
- See all Zones to which they have been given permission
- List Categories assigned to each Zone
- Add new items by filling the attributes’ fields in a simple form
- List the items in each Category and sort them by any attribute they want
- Attach files of any format including (GIF, JPEG, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF) to any of the item
- View relations that each item has with other categories’ items and navigate to those items
- Add new relations between items
- Search for items in a specific Zone or in the whole system
